I'm not the one to answer your tech question but I would say make sure when this happens you document the call to the bank by using a cell phone so you have the record of calling them. That way you cover yourself so bank doesn't say it was on your end and you didn't notify us.
I had a similar situation on Friday when I went to sign in on my Chase online account. I kept getting these warnings from my anti virus software saying the site had a virus. I did a virus scan and no viruses came up. Every time I tried to log into Chase I either got the warning from Avast or I got a message saying the site wasn't available. I tried a few things and noticed it only happened on Firefox. So I called Chase to report it and they didn't seem to give a rat's arse. About half hour later I was able to access it through Firefox again.
