We do that all the time, but instead of water we put a little bit of olive oil in the pan.

I would love to chime in on reheating pizza, only way I do it, outdoor grill, pizza slices right on the grill, no pan, pizza on the left, flame on the right, full blast for about 10 mins or so, comes out better than it first was eaten, crisp and melty gooey
