HDG Its hard to find specific data on Flu vaccination rates among CAD patients ..a small study of CAD patients several yrs ago .... Vaccination rates increased with age: 48% (ages, 18-49 yr), 68% (ages, 50-64 yr), and 75% (age, > or = 65 yr). ...but easier to find rates on those over 65 .
There is a significant difference between US / Netherlands etc ( 65-75 % vaccinated ) and Poland /Ukraine

IMHO high risk /prior event CAD patients in the US are increasingly aggressively monitored by their healthcare providers to ensure they get the annual Flu shot and this will slow the rate of events in the US / Netherlands ....but not in Poland / Ukraine where there appears to be less compliance .
