His bio says he was a founder of naturalpoint, which was recently sold for $125 million to planar systems. Planar systems mainly makes LCD screens, video walls, etc. which could be useful for virtra if they can get better equipment cheaper. However I think the bigger idea is one of his products with naturalpoint, which was trackir. It has been mainly used for pc gaming but could probably be adapted for virtra sims and it involves a point-of-view tracker, which allows the user to be immersed in the game, his screen turns where his head turns, etc. I think it can be used inconjunction with their optitrack system, which is like a 3D scene capturing video. I definitely see those as a new product offering coming soon with virtra sims. Virtra is about to get a lot more immersive. I suggest you vote yes to Jim Richardson. Those products would be better than any of virtra competitors. They would win every contract.
