I don't see them spending big money at 3b, or anywhere else for that matter because they have to save money to pay their pitchers when they become eligible for salary increases. I think they'll fill the 3b position in house. Reynolds I think will stick with the Mets. His stats at Las Vegas this year are much improved and he can play any position, even the outfield. Behind the plate next year will be D'Arnaud and Plawecki, who's stats also are much improved this year. I think they'll give Lagares the chance to stay healthy and show improvement at the plate. I agree with you about the obp stats. That's the Mets most glaring offensive problem, imo. Wish they could get better obp from the top of the lineup
