Would Amarin not have been compelled to inform everyone that the DMC came out with the first stop recommendation under your scenario? One would think that would be a material event.

Before we see a tons of post re. this ... (I really do not know how to call it ...): in this case the study should not be blinded (since nothing is exist to hide) and AMRN could start the sNDA process (label change) based on 60% data ... but they did not want it, since

Eh they would only gain an extra year of sales before patents expire. What are we talking about, only a couple of billion dollars per year, maybe more... yep, no big deal, who cares, its only money.
