Patents are only worthless if not used. You only prove there worth by sales. Once you prove sales you then have to show how it would be beneficial, dollar wise, to a larger company to gain their interest. Bottom line is, can any company make any money off the patent.

Interesting statement: "patent is worthless". Considering they are selling petri plates because of the patent then that would mean the patent is not worthless.

Prove it. How many have they sold in 2017?

It's a complete patent for a real and valuable technology.

It's an untested patent to technology that hasn't produced any significant cash flow.

A patent provides legal rights. Anyone violating a patent is violating the law.

That's up to a court of law. Patents are overturned in a courtroom all the time. Pick up a newspaper. A printer ink company had a patent on their technology and just lost a patent infringement case (last month) against an ink refill company. Happens all the time.

They where selling petri plates before the flat pack , what was the increase? who is buying how many for what? Considering that your conclusions have as few numbers and facts as mine its just two opinion's.

Can't say I know patent law but i do know many similar "methods" are already patented with machines on the market available to package any size or shape product you prefer, for any product you wish keep sterile or preserve freshness. Saying "The product is specifically petri plates in an inert gas charged vacuum environment" sounds like a limitation and raises the question, What product?
