On 4/28/17 I opened NYCB at $13.29. Perhaps a bit prematurely, with a +5% dividend. I had originally bought this on its IPO years ago. Also that day I opened HT, which I'm loving and loved for long time before taking a bite at a 6% dividend for $18.46. Also opened CCP at $26.87 with around a 9% dividend. I like hotel and resort reits and long term care facility reits too. I like real estate investment reits also with the addition of NRZ.

On 5/5/17 I opened EPD at $26.75 with over a 6% dividend. For the future I'm looking at opening a position in STX, but it'll have to give back a little bit before I consider it. Though I do like the dividend I'd like to see dividend payouts equaling less than earnings. This isn't the case with STX, so I'll wait and see.

Interesting, my last post before my lengthy hiatus from Nicks thread mentioned NGG, which as an energy distributor is a good bet, was yielding 6% at the time. That yield to stock price is down to 4.4%. So though a good pick, I didn't take the plunge with this one that got away. A good solid stock and company though. I know from first hand. They service our area

I'm also holding for like forever, GE, IBM, HD, and Nextera- NEE. Maybe a few others. But who's counting.

All stocks dividends are being reinvested. When my wife retires within the next year and a half, we'll begin taking the dividend payouts. Can't wait.

So, right now of all the stocks I have, I'd sell WMT if and when it gets to $90, and PFE depending upon news and what the king tRUMP empire wishes to do on a whim.

Stocks held at this time are:
CCP
