Thanks for the informed opinion Dad - IMO if 2-73 is capable of achieving homeostasis it may become the first drug that physicians prescribe when a patient needs certain medical help. It would seem that you would want to get a sick person to a base point via 2-73 before you start prescribing for variables.

Targeting the root cause. It's not beta-amyloid.

The belief that Alzheimer's is caused by the aggregation of beta-amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles is starting to get muddied and the "consensus" scientific opinion is no longer.

Actually, Alzheimer's symptoms are very clearly caused by these two protein waste accumulations. No one is really questioning that.

The treatment problem is that, until Anavex, researchers have focused on how to safely and effectively remove these proteins (a failure in every case). The approach is simplistic: beta-amyloid and tau tangle proteins disturb neuron function and cause Alzheimer's symptoms, so, just get rid of them and the problem is solved.

But, as numerous expensive trials have shown, these deposits are utterly recalcitrant, unable to be removed without serious, debilitating side effects. Hence, unknowledgeable scientific and financial advisors castigate Anavex, thinking its approach is like all the others that have failed.

Thanks Dado for all you contribute. I am just a novice, but over the years, I have deeply followed natural solutions for disease modification or control. I find it very engrossing that there presently are a number of natural remedies that are trying to bring cells back to normal and eliminate many diseases. It is entirely possible with 2-73 achieving homeostasis that the cells are brought back to normal or stable condition. If this turns out to be, ANAVEX will become a "household name" quickly!!! I believe we are on the "threshhold of something sacred for millions across the globe. Now is a very exciting time for us, and with God's steady hand over us we WILL SUCCEED!
