Understanding that this is a bad day for you, and you have my sympathy. I don't think you're the villain here.
It has been said that you should be hired as an expert for MaxD on the appeal of today's decision. I wonder if you have any comment about that suggestion. We can put aside the obvious problem that appeals don't generally deal with evidence and fact, and so it's too late likely for new experts. I'm wondering though if you were satisfied with the qualifications of the expert who testified for Vedanti at the PTAB and also the quality of the lawyer who acted for Vedanti? And while I suspect you don't agree with the reasoning of the panel, do you think it was a fair hearing or do you adopt the view that the panel was corrupt?
I appreciate that nerves may still be a bit raw today, but I hope you might dispel some of the pure hokum being spread about today's result.
