Funny, my first PC was also a Zenith 8088 or 8086 with dual 3.5 floppys, using ms-dos, no HD B/w monitor with cga. Talk about slow, I remember the system booting up and making that racket for 3 minutes or so. But I did use the earlier atari 400 as my first computer. Even programmed in Basic. Used to do design work on that 400 drawing construction. Times have changed. That 400 even had a membrane keyboard. LOL

My first was a PC clone. 8088. But it was an XT. 10Mghz. Zoom-zoom!

Thought I was in heaven when I upgraded to a 286/10 and through memory voodoo and DesqView, was able to run a 2-line BBS on it while also using it for other things.
