It is my impression that LaGrande (the design which in laymans terms have a trusted and untrusted portion within its CPU)is simply not ready. It was also my impression that there was some interest in the IP that Wave could bring to such a design. If that is happening now, then my hats off to their poker faces. It would be quite a good secret to maintain. On the other hand, if you ask what is going on with Intel and this deal, all you get is that it is subject to very strict NDAs and Intel will be the one to make product announcements. So while I don't think there is a secret skunk works project underway, I also think there is more here than meets the eye and more to come.
