I don't have crystal balls so I shan't hazzard a guess regarding DK.

I don't get into that sort of thing as I have no earthly power sufficient to overpower their maneuvers. My hope is that Delek makes no untoward moves destined to weaken our positions but it's not more than a hope.

Reminds me of when friends pledge to pray for something. I tell them to go for it, even urge them to pray my share, too. I guess someone's gotta get it done, right?

But I wait and watch, all the while hoping things work out favorably for us among the faithful.

As for today's shenanigans? I doubt there's an intentional pulldown masterminded by DK. It would be far too obvious and the SEC would love to rape-&-feast once again.

I signed up for InvestorsHub based on the post by jugs on the Yahoo message boards, which have really deteriorated over the past decade. In contrast, InvestorsHub looks active and serious. I trade very little (which has served me well in the past) so my inclination is to stand pat regarding my position in ALDW. I loathe paying capital gains taxes so I am particularly reluctant to sell winners. Rebalancing holdings in taxable accounts strikes me as a very bad idea. ALDW is not currently a winner for me but I like the fundamentals of the domestic oil and gas industry. ALDW has been my worst performing holding in this sector but the prospects for domestic refineries are admittedly a bit murky at this juncture and visibility on ALDW is particularly weak given the Delek takeover. My other major oil and gas investments (OKE, CHK, CHK bonds, LGCYO, LGCYP, and GASFX) are all doing well, so I view ALDW as diversification.
