Welcome aboard and thanks for the reply. I fully expect a return above $10 for ALDW, soon, as in Spring/Summer timeframe.
I too dislike cap gains taxes and have paid big amounts into the IRS before I retired from a great job. I live in the minority of states that tax social security and we have the highest estate tax in the nation, so a change of residence is on the horizon.
I won't threaten to move to Canada, because I am already there about half the year and that is the limit for a non-resident, lol. I could show my grampa's Alberta citizenship papers but then I would get to pay taxes in TWO countries.
Besides... I think we are headed in the right direction albeit against a big headwind from the establishment. I will post my favorite pic below I borrowed from another conservative thinker.

MLP's have been my core holdings, diversified into a couple high yield REITS, ... LADR, and MORL( a 2x leveraged high yield mortgage REIT that pays each month, and the big payout every third month is coming this month.)
Our collection of posters here and at NGL share our favorite ideas and supporting articles we post. I was also alarmed at the vicious nature of Yahoo message boards and left a long time ago. They used to have great charting, too, but alas that too has passed to new software that misses, imo.

Let me thank you for trusting me at the other website. I rarely post there as so many posts are conspiring as per the individual's promotional agenda. I report the abuses.

We have an honest, sincere bunch here. And we like to have a bit of fun, too.

ALDW went through an earthquake some months ago... October, I believe. My take is that a hedge fund probably decided to stick it to us retailers and the forces that be will expect to scarf up cheap units later next week.

Part of me wants to snatch some of the cheapies but I'm not willing to add to my $56k utilization already in play. However, LADR is paying on Monday so it's not like I'm without resources. We'll see.

Anyhow, best of good fortune to you. I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say.

As for morning trades in ALDW, be careful as pent up emotion leads to fanciful expectations. Opening trades may not compare to trades a couple of hours later. I have no idea where units will price but if I can add at $9 and below, I'll have to move on it.

Welcome aboard ponderosa -I visited the yahoo stock boards years ago and it was no where I wanted to hang out at.People were attacking each other with alarming posts and I saw no reason to spend any time in that arena.Most here are trying to make some money and freely share ideas and match wits with the markets.
