Lawyers often supplement when they are trying to enhance, i.e. when they are worried about the original charges. And, it took the AMEX a month to supplement the original notice. A good lawyer does not need a month to supplement and enhance strong charges. They would have been clearly presented with specificity from the beginning.

I saw that NR when it came out...just more detail about the AMEX's issues.

But it does not explain why the AMEX is giving GTE so much time before the appeal. Do you think the AMEX is waiting for something good to happen ? or bad ?....to make their job easier
