Microsoft was smart. Pay sfor one time to use their product and make millions off them. 10 million was nothing for microsoft now that they made 10s of millions off sfor and left them to watch helplessly. 120 million machines using sfor? And no money goes to sfor. Sfor missed out big time. In the end Microsoft is the winner. One time lump sum payment and microsoft moved on and created azure and used the two factor authentication.
