Aren't we just the pair these days? A hoot! Glad to hear you are doing better. Maybe you'd better stop having those towel fights with your significant other, LOL.

Junk bags of silver coins (not junk silver, which can be knives and forks, silver plate, etc.) are in many ways the best of both worlds, in that it is an investment in the bullion just as silver rounds are, without numismatic value, and with low markup over POS, but also a just-in-case hedge. If we do get hyperinflation, a la Germany prior to WWII, a thriving blackmarket will spring up where having different denominations of coins could be a distinct advantage. Good money chases out bad money, and if the dollar inflation gets really, really bad, I'd just as soon have some silver and small denomination gold coins to trade on the blackmarket in preference to taking a wheelbarrow full of dollar bills to the supermarket. But that's just me. . .

Shasta, I didn't know that shingles could be so debilitating until a good friend told me about her brother who has shingles bad. Poor guy can't go outside in the sun and can't even sleep in a bed. He just retired after 35 years with a major Oil Co. and now he is stuck in tyhe house... I think he is very very slowly getting better.... Thanks for the info. on the vaccine!
