Newly, is buying junk silver an investment or for insurance in a doomsday scenario like Joe Stocks was mentioning?

Glad to hear that you are seeing improvement in your pox battle. My "Wellness Letter" from Berkeley has an write-up on shingles (I think extelecom teased you about it). Since you have the chicken pox as an adult, I would think you have less of a chance of getting shingles. They mention that the virus from chicken pox from childhood lies dormant until it emerges as shingles, typically after age 50. It happens in half of those who live to 85. (That sounds really high to me, but what do I know?) However it appears that people who have had chicken pox and have been re-exposed (like caring for a child with it or teaching in school are two examples they give) probably have less of a chance of developing shingles. So that is why I mention the likelihood of you getting shingles is less. In any case, now there is also a new vaccine for shingles approved for folks 60+. Supposed to prevent half of the cases and lessen the severity of the cases that do happen. MRK is the manufacturer. Plan is to charge physicians about $145 a dose so out-of-pocket costs for those without insurance could run $250 to $300. I mention in case someone here is interested in MRK.

Glasses stay on until the end of the week, which is a major bummer for me. I have a corneal divot that hasn't healed, although the towel-created abrasion is gone. Not sure how I got the "divot" but now I have new drops. Pink eye is gone so I don't look as scarey.
