I personally think you guys have gone overboard on whatever specifics are contained in the article. Rocky even got a confirmation on those pictures that it is the body of Sanswire 2, and that there was a reason that not everything was shown. Go to Rocky's board if you need that confirmation.

The point is, they didn't show everything on purpose. Why do you think that is? Do you think they want to show their competitors their entire design? I don't think so. And I applaud them for being that careful since this is turning out to be an EXTREMELY competitive venture.

I think Huff says that the USAT pic is the gas bag strucuture, so no, this would not be the exterior or rigid shell of the Sans II just the components that hold the gas - and since it has no sandbags, it must be an early pic of the subassembly. That's my take anyway.

As far as the size of the ship and the altitude, if you think what they are saying now has not been the case for months, you haven't been doing your DD.

All in all, very happy with the USAT article. But Jones seems to be far more circumspect in his expectations - a few years, etc., whereas Huff has been - "we're only months from changing the world." overly promotional anyone?
