The company itself and it's owner owns no horses. That tells you something. After listening to my new friend talk I see the underbelly. So many horses are bought from royal blood lines for big money (100k+ or more) and a year or two later they are sold cheap because they didn't have the drive, the legs, or ankles for it. Then there are businesses that breed in house hoping to make a winner. They run their horses too hard looking for a freak. The horses "breakdown" and they castrate them and they are free.

The level of detail used to track bloodlines of Thoroughbreds is incredible. Every single one is in an accessible data base. Here is an example. http://www.pedigreequery.com/golden+horn12 I wish we could track CEO's and their offspring like this.

From my side, since it was not a thoroughbred and he is a little on the small side. It will probably be some older woman or parents buying for their daughter.
