Bulldozer, a decision to sell after many years does not come easily and is highly personal. Like you, I would not speculate what the SCOTUS might do. As for the election and what the market might do if "our" candidate prevails, I believe a market correction would be very short-lived knowing the market abhors uncertainty but would roar back as the economic policies this candidate promotes would be a positive for the country.

Just my 2 cents here, best of luck with your decision and know that no investor ever lost many booking a gain.

If you have a price that will make your life better then selling is the

thing to do. Happiness beats the hell out of money. Don't look back

and enjoy your rewards. Spend the money on doing things that makes you

and your wife happy. Do things you had talked about but never done. Buy

things that you once only wished you had. It will be far more rewarding

then years later the stock has doubled or tripled and you are to damn

old to enjoy the rewards. This should not apply to only you but to any

of our investors and I am a roaring bull on IDCC but evaluate what in life

you really want. Youth and time are a wonderful thing but it is short

lived and the next thing you know time has gone so fast and you are old

and not a lot of time so money becomes not as important as enjoying

your remaining years.
