Bulldozer, a decision to sell after many years does not come easily and is highly personal. Like you, I would not speculate what the SCOTUS might do. As for the election and what the market might do if "our" candidate prevails, I believe a market correction would be very short-lived knowing the market abhors uncertainty but would roar back as the economic policies this candidate promotes would be a positive for the country.
