could be more than meets the eye... or in this case, the interwebs. LeEco, another one of Li's ventures just raised 1.08 Billion to build their ev hypercar. Again, Apple, Eontec and LQMT are all in play, all having interests in this new breed of automotive space; they can all benefit from future endeavours... its just a matter of time. Just need Li, Cook and Steipp to sing Kumbaya in sync...

I just have a hard time with Li having a hard time getting his money into this country. He didn't seem to have a problem with the first payment.

That's true, but they only got that amount because Stiepp's suitcase could only fit 8 mill on yuan cash on his way back from China.

I am more believing Steipp was suppose to have done something that hasn't been done or occured and maybe LI is holding back.

This is likely also true as rumor has it that Stiepp couldn't find a suitcase large enough to bring the 55 mill in yuan cash back from China. Allegedly, they are working on good-looking knock-offs in China so that Stiepp can carry back the remainder "in style" as he gets off the plane. This could also be one of the reasons for the delay. It is not easy to find good pleather.

Also, I mean, did you ever see the size of a yuan? Compared to USD's, it's almost half an inch taller!!! NOT ONLY THAT, but since the conversion rate is 6.5 to 1, he has to carry back 366 MILLION yuans!!! I mean, where the hell is the guy supposed to find a suitcase that BIG?!?!?! This is a HUGE burden on Stiepp and I can only imagine the baggage fees on top of that! Crazy!!!

There's no way you or I could know how difficult it was for Li to get his money into the US. There are probably more palms to be greased in China, unlike the US where a single donation to the right Foundation can make things happen.
