Anyway, not sure why folks are so certain that 1) It's in Apple's interest to build an indestructible phone (sure does mess up the two-year product cycle, wouldn't it?)
That's the point - look around. iPhones are being held long-term. A lot of banged up iPhones out there that people are holding on to as long as they can. It's relevant and irrelevant. if they make them right there could be a massive turnover on old iPhones but there's no longer a Steve Jobs to sell it that there's nothing better than this "newest iPhone."
