Wonder how much revenue Apple derives from cases being added to phones ... probably something to consider (Don't give me the "Apple doesn't cases, you bozo! Some things aren't so obvious ........) These $159 ear buds are this year's version of the lightning cable ... such add-on revenue is nothing to sneeze at, especially as phone sales flatten. Anyway, not sure why folks are so certain that 1) It's in Apple's interest to build an indestructible phone (sure does mess up the two-year product cycle, wouldn't it?) and 2) It's in Apple's interest to, well, wall off massive incremental revenue that comes outside of the phone itself ...
