I have had that happen as well. You have to put in AON (all or none) under the special instructions drop down menu. In theory they could sell you one share and charge you. That's why I always use "all or none" trades. You risk getting zero shares but if you use level 2 you should be able to see how many shares are available at the price you want and you should get your full order. Good luck.
