Today I put in a bid for 190000 sh, of one of my pennys. When I checked at the end of the day, a partial buy of only 500sh for a transaction value of 11 cents went thru and Etrade charged me $9.99. When I asked for an explanation they said that they have to pay the MMs their fee regardless of the trade value. Something doesn't seem right. I think even if my offer was very low the MMs would have sold me a few shares just to get the fee. Any comments??
