Reverse split (8 times out of 10) is very negative and here's why:

MM's such as NITE and DLHY take advantage by shorting the stock like crazy to drive it down.

Fewer people will buy back at even a lower price

Most companies after a reverse split float more stock and this is what investors think about

Also, if there is no fantastic news afterwards, the stock gets hit even harder.
