The bank I am involved in does the same only different. They have a property management co, they created/own that leases the land to the banks, as I have said before THUS KEEPING the property at arms length and safe from seizure by the FDIC.
Don't we have UNDER WMI a property management co or something along those lines
Yes, very possible WMI purchased both land and buildings and leased the buildings to WMB. Or WMB original purchased both land and buildings and did a sale to WMI with lease back.
