CL your DD is okay but not complete. First of all TCG is a trusted eco-system. Within that eco-system you have NGSCB and TPM's. Specifically INTEL's LaGrande is SPECIFICALLY being introduced to KEEP MSFT from controlling the trusted eco-system... and they are not alone. Listen to some of the work presented by awk and you can hear this for yourself DIRECTLY from INTEL. Besides it was INTC and Verisign working on attestation.... perhaps if you validate or invalidate Verisign and Wave Systems being enterprise partners you may have an argument here on attestation... are you intentionally trying to scare someone or did you really think TCG was trying to help MSFT rule the world?

I honestly do not believe that TCG and its members have been assembled to enable Microsoft to totally control and own the trusted computing platform and all related peripherals. In fact if you think about the points Cricket made and add to the fact that there are new members in the phone world -- those companies having specifically rejected and fought against Microsoft's cell phone OS - you'd have to think there is much interest in keeping it an open field. Add to it the embrace of Linux and you'd see that there are a collection of major players balancing the situation.

I am not pleased that the Wave/Microsoft relationship did not flourish like the way the intel relationship is likely flourishing and that Embassy is more a threat than a benefit (attestation and other services are complimentary IMO). Wave and Microsoft have collaborated a lot in the past but as we have learned these relationships can change on a dime or at least a quarter.

Go ahead and buy Microsoft. They likely are going away but whether they can maintain big growth is really another story. Their competitors are a lot smarter today than 20 years ago.

crazylarry, the vast majority of tech investors understand MSFT is the silver back gorilla. But there are many other gorillas in the jungle ... in addition, there are bookoo chimps. The food chain is long and diversified.

Let me bring a small detail to your attention once again. Your comments/thoughts/posts almost ALWAYS ring of "the negative" -- regularly you present the worst case scenario. You pounce on the simplest "maybe positive" comment(s).

Seems to this investor/poster that over the course of the past 4 to 5 months you've made it you life's mission to inject doubt and fear on multiple WAVX boards. Don't you have another out-of-town business trip or vacation scheduled sometime soon?

Seriously, give us all a treat and post something that remotely resembles a faint positive regarging Wave Systems. ;o) Please! A little balance would much lend credibility to some of the valid points you post.

Have a great day. I'm off to enjoy another day in the great state of Texas.
