Ouch! Your kiddie glove hit in my jaw. I'm not going to let it get to me. My sensitive retaliation side won't show. I will not jab you back! Yup, I'm going to avoid it. I'm going to let it slide. Besides you've been picked on all day. You're exhausted. It must be tough to then learn my logic won the day. There's no need for you to do the concede and retract thing you do. It's unnecessary. From now on if you ever me tell me I'm not challenging enough, I'm going to interpret it as that I stumped you. ;)

But I will say this, you knew darn well that I was using Linda Liau's OS comments to point out that PFS cannot show-up as worse then a placebo, and yet OS show up stronger than standard of care (beat out multiple studies of GTR; and studies of mMGMT status too) and that you can't tell me that the vaccine is nothing more than a placebo. Well you can, but you're wrong.

Okay, I'll stop now. All kidding aside, I like Dr. Pat, and think they'll find success as they are following his model. I would tell you if I had a bad feeling over it. You'll be fine, you big risky gambler! I will be too. Thanks for the advice, but I'll stick to my diversification strategy, it's how I roll. :)

Uh, what? The DMC recommends futility because more patients progressed on DCVax 2:1 over placebo and so you're screwed on your Primary Endpoint so just stop and give it up because now even all those people living longer than anyone has with this disease historically can't save this technology? Are you high?

Do you really, really think that the FDA, under the current pressure to quit hindering the approval of safe alternatives in quickly deadly cancers, would be working all these months with the company, asking for documents and scrutinizing the trial, would be doing so if there wasn't something unprecedented going on? Do you really believe that if OS was outrageous across all patients that the FDA wouldn't be breaking their backs to help find a way to be able to approve this?

I have news for you; I'm in this business of medicine and I can tell you that despite all the bullshit that occurs within insurance companies, big pharma, CMS, nurses unions, clinical trials, academia, etc., etc., etc., where everything other than the patient gets prime attention, investigators like Linda Liau and CEO's like Linda Powers will be pushing for that which is real. This thing is golden and looking for a way around the miserable rules that govern the FDA and leave no room for the obvious if the data is being skewed by old assumptions that new findings can prove are not only outdated but unnecessary for approval. This is what's happening, I guarantee it.

Yawn.

It is interesting Liau was all about OS in her talk. And she looked exceptionally nervous (fake smiles, fake laughs, stumbling through sentences--not really like her other talks I've seen).

I'd love to see a link to all these Liau fake smiles....laughs and stumbling through sentences please. Otherwise......yawn...feeling sleepy.
