That is correct short selling in not illegal (although it should be), but shorting a stock and then taking action to manipulate the price down is illegal as is naked shorting. Hope that helps.

Nobody cares about legal shorts. You act all high and mighty all the time but you can't even comprehend that there are illegal naked shorts.
