Well if he didn't reply people like would scream scam. So he is damned either way so he may as well do what he thinks is right. If you think he should be "working" maybe you should stop emailing him so he isn't distracted so much huh?
It seems a piss poor attitude to take so much of someone's valuable time, then publicly cast suspicion on their motives for giving you their valuable time. Get help.
