I have to admit that the Internet has made equity investing waaaay more easy. I put myself through college by reading the Wall Street journal and trying to put the sparse sprinkling of information together to make trades. This was before Internet, day trading, message boards. My friends thought I was the biggest nerd - they don't think that now.
