But when it comes to morons with access to unusually large sums of cash, may I present to you "Dr." Patrick Byrne of Overstock.
There is a lot of unearned wealth out there sitting in the hands of idiots. Byrne would be Exhibit "A". Maybe Patch inherited a pile of cash, maybe he insured his wife for a million bucks and then threw her under a bus, or maybe he was goofing on everyone when he talked about his Jag Media holdings. Doesn't matter much to me, there are plenty of other examples of misinformed investors who start out with large quantities of cash. I'm only too happy to relieve them of it.
