With the money Amarin spent/is spending on Reduce-It you highlighted how egregious the whole Anchor/Adcom debacle was. There is no way if from the outset Amarin knew they would have to run Reduce-IT to completion with Anchor on the label that they could proceed alone let alone investors pony up for the exercise.
Getting Anchor after 60% enrollment (as was the deal in the SPA) would have paid easily for the Reduce-It costs and so prior to the disastrous Adcom all three paths (GIA, partner, buyout) were relatively viable but that is why since Adcom we are scraping the bottom with the stock price as the financial situation is not pretty.

Dr Sears is a PHD, and not an MD. The medical community including the public owe a great deal to Dr. Sears as he has done great service by bringing to light some very important but (to the medical community) arcane information. Information if it were not for Dr. Sears we would probably not know for another twenty years.
Dr. Sears publicizes EPA which is what Vascepa is and the company and we shareholders should be grateful. If the company had any sense, they would have hired Sears long ago as a spokesman. He can be forgiven if he touts his own product. I'm sure if Amarin came calling, he would not slam the door in their faces..Maybe Aaron Berg should contact him..
