I've heard Sears referred to as Dr several times so I just assumed he was an MD. No surprise to learn that he is actually a businessman with a background in science. I am wary of anyone who's primary motivation is money.

Going by HDGabors numbers you are looking at a total cost of $155M if the trial is halted by end of Q1 2016 and $205M if it runs to completion. Let's say the ANCHOR study cost $45M (Im pulling the number out of my ass, could be less, but its probably more. Hopefully HDG can provide a more accurate figure). You are looking at a total cost of $200M with an Interim stop and a quarter of a Billion $'s if it runs to completion. And all that comes with no guarantee the FDA will even approve the indication. Mind boggling stuff especially considering that the numbers above dont include legal expenses and loss of revenue on the back of the ADCOM charade.
And people have the audacity to criticise Amarin's management for getting us this far?
