we (hubby and I) even went on to buy crystal's album. she is that good. and she didnt even win. so, good points all around.

we see many that didnt win, oh shows and stuff... so, good for them.

Many of the true winners of American Idol have not been the shows pick as a winner; I would say this is true of every season except for the ones where Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood were the winners.
