Pit. this working computer is my old desktop HP. Windows 7. Love it. Almost two years ago I got curious as to why you millions used laptops. Made no sense to me, so I bought a rebuilt laptop to get Windows 7 once again. Had to add Wi Fi to my modem as I recall. Then everything worked. For a year and a half. Then the laptop quit accessing Wi Fi. To make a long story, I couldn't fix the laptop so I bought another rebuilt W7. It worked for four months, quit accessing Wi Fi. Spent $180 at Office Max to get it cleaned out and working again. For two weeks, and it quit Wi Fi. Best Buy isn't interested in W7. Wal-mart has no answer. No one knows why I can't get Wi Fi on these two laptops.
Desktop is wired to Cox Cable. Laptops are not wired.
