This wasn't the press release the market wanted

It also wasn't the PR that the market was expecting. Finally, I think the market was not impressed with one of the board members who was appointed. I have stated my reason in other posts already today. No nicely worded press release can help a biotech company when they appoint someone who primarily has counterintelligence and government, non regulatory experience. We don't need that skillset on the board at this stage of the company's development. The overall market was down, and with the higher beta for NWBO, the stock is down a little more.

I alluded to this issue in a previous post:

But we all know that NWBO has done this before. And we all know why the sp fell. And we all know the information regarding NWBO's science has only gotten better with the LL video and other info that is slowly coming out. No one knows if Linda will make any big announcements next week. All of us who believe in the science can't help but to expect her to tell us good news. It may not come next week but we feel confident that at the appropriate time, it will come (though nothing is guaranteed).

See Ready, because we believe in the science, based on the info that is out so far, we will not sell until approval and the subsequent run-up. We feel strongly that NWBO will be successful and valuable. We aint selling.

But what I'd really like to know is how could people invest in a company and for years harp on the dishonesty of it's management, Actually believing the CEO is stealing the company's money, lying about the trials, paying people to pump-up the stock price, lining her own pockets but, despite all of this dishonest and fraudulent behavior, not only stays invested but rides the stock down from $12 per share to less than $2-- again, all the while shouting from the roof top about the crooked CEO and incompetent corporate management team. I know why I'm invested and in the red on NWBO. For the people who don't believe in Linda/NWBO, I wonder what's their excuse.

Most longs who believe in NWBO's science will ALWAYS expect Linda to announce good news. If you believe in the science, recognize that Linda is ramping up manufacturing, are ware of the consistent performance of DCVAX-- don't you think that it is reasonable to expect good news? We don't know when it will happen, but we expect good news to occur soon.

I think you already know the answer to this, but here you go.

There are many on this board who have been long on this stock for a long time. They believe in the technology even more so after listening to Dr. Liau's video. There is expectation of FDA approval of DCVAX-L some time this year, but when precisely it will happen is still a question mark and with all patients allegedly living longer with the cross over group, meeting the OS and PFS goals of the trial may take far longer which may require the FDA to modify its approval criteria because we don't believe the FDA will not approve a treatment for GBM where patients normally die fairly quickly and there is no other treatment when they are all living longer. Friday was interesting since the stock went up a good amount after a long slide and there were also some other peripheral indications. There was AF's odd tweet about news coming. There were the 16 shares that TC spotted that sold for $6.25 (possibly a signal by someone with inside info)which all was interpreted as possibly an indication of something about to happen. There was also the conference coming up today and speculation that LP might have new news. Perhaps the announcement of the 2 new board members yesterday was all that was really going to be real new news this week. I guess we will find out from LP later today, but with all that said we do all still expect FDA approval some time this year, the stock to rocket up, NWBO to finally start making money, but when this year is still TBD.

I hope that helps.
