#49288 RE: Ready4bluesky #49281

I have not lost any money in this stock because I have not sold any shares, nor have I made any money, but I have always had a long view toward my investment strategy and don't look at anything minute by minute or day by day. We have been in some investments for close to 40 years. Some took 20 years to break even, some were profitable much sooner. Some we had to realize that we were better off letting go and taking a loss and that it is a cost of doing business, and that not all investments work out the way they appear in the beginning.

I have no reason to believe this is the case with NWBO and see many reasons why the company will succeed but that there are risks. Left to its own devices with no interference, I believe the company would have raised all of the needed funds and completed Ph III and that Direct Ph II would have been well underway, but the evidence is strong that outsiders are trying to interfere and undermine the progress.

I have no reason to believe Linda has used my funds to build her private company because I have not made a direct investment in the company, only bought on the open market; and, there is no evidence for this accusation which I believes lacks intellectual honesty and understanding of the complexity of the business. To me it represents the worst possible attributes of yellow journalism, oversimplification or distortion of facts in order to paint a false impression for the purpose of personal gain. Many others on this board have itemized the strategic decisions which have kept this company alive that involved Cognate absorbing huge risks in return for uncertain rewards but that kept the clinical trials moving forward, the technology advancing, and the mission and vision of the company alive.

Have you been stepping forward with financing offers that are more favorable to the company? Have you reached out to your contacts and tried to promote the company to wealthy investors, financiers and funds? I know you are aware of the negative publicity and pattern of turning good news into bad that the company has been facing over the past several years, which include law firms trolling for clients and spurious lawsuits that rehash AF's disproven claims. My opinions fall in line with more respectable journalists like Pearlstein and analysts such as Smith.

I have no idea what is going on with the trial screening suspension, but have confidence we will find out in due time, and my investment is not dependent on whether I find out this minute, next month or when the time is appropriate. If it were for any reason that was untoward, as NW said, we would have learned by now. I have to assume that Linda is using her good business judgment within the bounds of what she is allowed to communicate per the FDA and what she is required to communicate by the SEC, and is following those requirements. Why? because she is an investor also.

Direct - I have watched the presentations, and see that they are continuing to discover important information about how Direct is harnessing the immune system. I would imagine the company would want to include these discoveries in Phase II to maximize their outcomes. I also suspect there has been interference, judging by the Buzdar episode. That is purely speculation on my part, but MD Anderson is competing with them on several fronts. It also appears as if the onslaught of lawsuits has affected resources, and that they felt it wise to pursue the bird in the hand (PIM) by spending more resources up front on manufacturing to get that program running and revenues flowing, based on PR's and posts by those here who have done a lot of due diligence.

If I believed the naysayers, then I might feel it is dire, but I choose to follow the real analysts who put their names to what they write, the accomplishments of the company, the scientific results, the results of patients that we know about, the elite institutions that are supportive and enthusiastic about DC Vax technology, the scientists, the regulators in multiple countries, vision of the CEO that has brought all of this together in a difficult climate and who continues to fight for the success of the company and the trials. Whether others stay or go is not my concern. I am not a trader. I became an investor who believes in the science, especially after seeing it work first hand. I want this to be available for myself and my family members if I should ever be in need, just like I would have loved to have it available for my mom.

No one on the negative side has made a compelling argument in my opinion. The science really speaks for itself. Especially the last results we got from the Direct trial. I look forward to hearing the news about L when they are available, but am inspired by what has been released from the information arm.
