Some folks are either internationally posting incorrect theories/speculation, or are just consistently miles away from the truth or reality of the situation.

Linda was correct to reject N.W 's suggestions. Anyone who doesn't understand this is just an idiot IMHO.

1- Ondra- Conflict of interest.
2- Freeh. Group ....not independent of N.W.
3- Leary.... Not that experienced in the focus of the BIGGER problems with the shorts,ect.

Ready i disagree with this statement:

After reading the PR's from today a couple of things are very apparent. NW wanted an internal investigation into all of the Phase 5 allegations and wanted Leary to head that effort. Linda has not only rejected his recommendation, but she has also deflected the internal investigation and will instead hire folks to look outward with a focus on stock manipulation. It is exactly what I expected. I have zero confidence in this management team and I believe Neil Woodford shares this opinion.

There are two investigations;
One to look in to the allegations OF company misconduct headed by the partners Nathan and Kaplan from the firm of Arnold & Porter LLP.
They engaged Charles Price to assist the first investigation and to seek assistance from regulatory bodies to look into the stock manipulation claims made BY the company.

Ready4bluesky do you acknowledge that you are incorrect when you claimed that Linda has averted the internal investigation? Also do you understand as mapman clearly pointed out from the PR's today that there are in fact two investigations going on? You would have know that had you read the PR's, maybe you are one of those "international" types that spreads "international" theories and speculation? It's alright pal no response necessary, as I understood what you meant in spite of what you wrote.

The Special Committee considered various candidates to head the Investigation Team and selected Messrs. Irvin Nathan and Steven Kaplan of Arnold & Porter LLP. Neither Arnold & Porter LLP nor Mr. Nathan or Mr. Kaplan has previously done any work for NW Bio, or otherwise been connected with the Company or its Board or management.

Mr. Nathan's background includes service in the Justice Department as a Deputy Assistant Attorney General, as well as service as General Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives, Attorney General of the District of Columbia, Vice Chairman of the D.C. Board of Professional Responsibility and Chair of the Ethics Committee of the D.C. Bar, as well as many years in private practice and extensive experience in conducting investigations.

Mr. Kaplan's background includes heading the Corporate and Securities law practice of Arnold & Porter LLP, with extensive experience with corporate governance and internal investigations, in addition to securities law compliance, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.

The Special Committee anticipates that the investigation will get under way in the coming week and will likely take at least 90 days.
