Thanks. If the Mets pull one out tonight it could be five behind.

One thing that suprised me, maybe not you, but while perusing nyyankeefans.com someone stated, and was backed up by others, that the Yankees were next to last in runs scored in the AL during June.

I know that they left a lot of guys in scoring position, epecially the past week or so, but that was shocking to me.

Do you think the Yankees should go for more pitching or more hitting or just take their chances the rest of the year? Many of the fans are saying to not trade Hughes under any circumstances and risk this year to save future years. That doesn't sound like most Yankee fans in the past, or was that just the newspapers?

I have seen a lot more comebacks in second halfs from the Yanks than I care to admit, but this year they look like they will have more to overcome than usual.

excel, it's certainly not too early to say that, but as of now, they are out and they have a tougher second half schedule... so I wouldn't put the odds at favoring the Yankees on making the playoffs.
