'IH Admin [Dan]'... IE icon did not appear in task bar, therefore, could not pin, of course.
Had tried something similar earlier where asked me to type internetexplorer.exe
(returned message that IE could not be found.

Now: at very top of window you had me pull up there is an IE icon followed by IE desktop app"
After trying you guide line, I clicked on that which took me to whatever is stated in
"internet property" menu , in its home page box- which in my case was msn browser home page.

I then changed info in home page box to Maxthon .com/ and it brought that up.
Is internet explorer doing this... don't know.

I have so many things happen that was going to reinstall windows 10 , but was messaged
there, that would need to reinstall all apps myself- eg; quote tracker, Maxthon browser, etc.
So did not go there.

I could restore computer back to windows 7 to get things back on track, but I'm wondering
that if I did that could I again download windows 10 as if it were the first time. (thus letting Microsoft do all the apps installations, as they did the first time.

I do like windows 10 and want it on my computer.

The learning curve is steep!

Oh, and problems are not doings of faulty computer. have great 5 year old hp computer- fast with plenty of memory and big hard drive.
