SUBJECT: GODFREY(GUANGZHOU)AEROSPACE BEARINGS LTD AS81820 STANDARD BEARI NG
CONDITIONAL QUALIFICATION APPROVAL

Mr . McKay,
Your products utilizing the Feilon liner system successfully meet the verification test qualification requirements stipulated by the AS81820 Aerospace Standard . Your successful verification test qualification to - 8 size of MS14101 provides qualification to sizes -7,-8 , and -9 of MS14101, and MS14102 by similarity. This letter is official notification that Transpacific
will be added to the Qualified Products List (QPL) as the source
plant supplying the qualified bearings to QPL source names:

GODFREY (GUANGZHOU) AEROSPACE BEARINGS LTD
First Floor, #3 Building, Yunbu Road 3, No 19
Luogang District , Guangzhou, China

The conditional qualification approval applies to the above mentioned parts. It is a conditional qualification approval until such time as the Qualifying Activity is able to inspect the factory at Guangzhou, China. Additional requirements on the basis of this conditional approval are described below. Qualification to AS81820 stipulates that your products possess the technical
capabilities defined in the standard. Therefore, your products have the potential to be purchased under the standard with the intent for installation on military as well as commercial aircraft . Procurement of standard parts by the DOD and OEMs as well as their distributors and maintenance organizations
also require parts to be manufactured under a certified quality management system. For this reason, it is the Qualifying Activity's responsibility to ensure that your company possesses the required capability and methodology to effectively provide a consistent level of quality products . As a newly qualified company, evidence of a quality management system shall
be provided as well as documentation supporting the frozen manufacturing process. Any future changes to the frozen process must be approved by the qualifying activity. A document package including copies of the company's quality policy and process router plans, including quality control measurement, testing and inspection processes with associated instruction and
record forms shall be provided . If necessary, English translated versions shall be provided as well. In addition, a list defining all material sources shall be provided. Finally, as a conditional qualification requirement, as a temporary measure in lieu of a factory visit/review and considering recent changes in the swage
release process, the Qualifying Activity shall be provided with three verification samples of each production lot properly labeled and packaged. These production lot samples will be provided for a maximum of one year.

Including a product on the QPL does not relieve the manufacturer of its contractual obligation to deliver items meeting all the specification requirements . To retain QPL status, your company must comply with the retention of qualification requirements stated in the applicable standard and submit on a bi-yearly basis a completed certification form DD1718. Failure to comply with these requirements could result in the withdrawal of your company
from the QPL. Our point of contact is Mr. George Stolt, Code 4.3.5.4 (301) 342-8855 , who may be contacted at the address below:
