Well,

Ortiz's numbers were much lower when he was with the Twins. Use numbers in Boston.

In any event, Ortiz and Rameriz are much better in tandem than Mantle and Maris.

Although I like Maris, he doesn't stand up to what Ortiz and Manny have done the last three years.

Also, frankly I don't care, other than the fact that they are so great you would even bother to argue the point. ;)
