The numbers don't support you, vicocala.

Gehrig .632 lifetime slugging and .447 OBP
Ruth .690 & .474

Ramirez .599 & .409
Ortiz .534 & .366

I like to see either match Gehrig who had 13 straight 100+ RBI seasons with 9 seasons over 130 RBIs, or Ruth who had 8 straight and 10 seasons with over 130 RBIs.

Ramirez has had 3 seasons with greater than 130 RBIs and Ortiz has had 2. They are respectively 34 and 31. I don't expect them to achieve what Ruth & Gehrig did.

All stats are as of the conclusion of 2005.

Ramirez is below their stats and Ortiz is way below.
