Looks like you'll fit right in with the rest of us irresponsible investors. Why so many shares? You earlier told claudealain that his 200000 was more than enough, and he needed to diversify. Now you want a million for yourself. Were you afraid he wouldn't leave enough on the table for you? lol

Umbra, did/do you have a basis for this statement...

"You will ultimately find that there is considerably more oil in Block 2 than in 1."

Not asking you to disclose your basis, just wondering if there is some meat there.

Umbra....thanks for your reply. You sound quite serious on your ERHC intentions and I hope it pays off well for you and our fellow ERHC investors.

Your posts have lacked ERHC discussion for the past weeks and I am pleased to find you discussing our mutual interest again. I'm also pleased you didn't resort to "bashing" ERHC before becoming a recent shareholder.

Yes, my post was only a scenario put together from what I consider to be a couple of high profile posters and a throw in of B's emails.

Umbra...you indicated in your todays repsonse:

"But alas, it is only a scenario. It is quite pointless for any of us to create scenarios but that's what we do because of our hopes and wishes."

Can you elaborate if things have changed since your earlier postings in which similar "scenario's" were addressed and responded to by you? I'm almost thinking everything remains intact based on your recent announcement of buying shares and even borrowing to buy more.

Strike the term "buy-out" from your current operative vocabulary. I think you would find Mr. B.'s current assigned value of ERHC as "priceless". So where would the bidding begin? It won't even be entertained.
There too will be numerous other "players" coming forward as time passes, reserves become more definitive and the like. The GOG will witness the likes of an international "feeding frenzy" with some thusfar unthought of "sharks".
Watch for Lukoil as one of these. They have the where-with-all to buy in with more than just money and have unique appeal to countries with both frail governments and military forces.

......I posted this scenario which was followed by your response of:

You're a pretty smart guy. I can neither confirm nor deny your vision of the weeks to come. It seems clear and very logical.
Whether it plays out EXACTLY this way...we'll see won't we.
If you own the stock, just sit back with your mind at ease and watch things happen in their own time.
You must be a chess player as well.

Your position is very pragmatic and clear. Read my other responses to different posts, ie., balance_builder. There's a man with an almost "pure" focus.
I think you are correct.

Umbra, what's good for ERHE, it the ''proof'' given in Anardarko's Purchase of PROVEN RECESERVES. Big Oil is having difficulties increasing Reserves by organic growth, hence, buying it, through other Cos.

It's the mere fact, that THIS ONE DEAL, Increased the Oslo Exchange (which is very Heavy on O & G) by 2 % ydy COUNTER CYCLIC to all the Major Exchanges in Europe which ALL had a streap decline.........

Things are really looking to start looking Real Goood for our Minnow........

Now back to Soccer, (Intermission now). Germany leads 2 to 0 aginst Sweden; but I don't like the Referee. He gave a 2nd Yellow card to a Swedish player on a 'thing' that ALL the other teams do all the time, and hence a RED card and OUT. Sweden is now playing better with one less player and was close to make it 2 to 1. BUT, what I didn't like at all was the SMILE on the Refees' Face + additionally ACCEPTING German player padding him on the back, for giving the 2nd card. That it just Unsportsman like and the Referee shud hv reacted by giving the German player a Yellow card for that......AIMO of course.

Cheers
