Umbra...you indicated in your todays repsonse:

"But alas, it is only a scenario. It is quite pointless for any of us to create scenarios but that's what we do because of our hopes and wishes."

Can you elaborate if things have changed since your earlier postings in which similar "scenario's" were addressed and responded to by you? I'm almost thinking everything remains intact based on your recent announcement of buying shares and even borrowing to buy more.

Strike the term "buy-out" from your current operative vocabulary. I think you would find Mr. B.'s current assigned value of ERHC as "priceless". So where would the bidding begin? It won't even be entertained.
There too will be numerous other "players" coming forward as time passes, reserves become more definitive and the like. The GOG will witness the likes of an international "feeding frenzy" with some thusfar unthought of "sharks".
Watch for Lukoil as one of these. They have the where-with-all to buy in with more than just money and have unique appeal to countries with both frail governments and military forces.

......I posted this scenario which was followed by your response of:

You're a pretty smart guy. I can neither confirm nor deny your vision of the weeks to come. It seems clear and very logical.
Whether it plays out EXACTLY this way...we'll see won't we.
If you own the stock, just sit back with your mind at ease and watch things happen in their own time.
You must be a chess player as well.

Your position is very pragmatic and clear. Read my other responses to different posts, ie., balance_builder. There's a man with an almost "pure" focus.
I think you are correct.
