#61817 RE: balance_builder #61783

Balance...I would reckon that if anything has changed, it is I and my willingness to throw out scenarios. Have you ever seen a movie called "War Games". Basically the story line of this movie is thermonuclear war and an almost endless number of scenarios under which a war would commence and escalate. Every possible scenario thought up by humans is fed into a "super computer" for analysis and response. Much to the shock and horror of its creators, this computer begins to learn. The threat of thermonuclear war becomes the reality of thermonuclear war as the computer morphs into an independent entity and decides to play on it's own. Fortunately and naturally in very dramatic form, the computer and its father/creator begin a series of tic-tac-toe games "for all the marbles". And the ultimate lesson learned from playing is that, in the playing, there would be no winners so why play at all.
I love scenarios and have both made them up and played them out for years. "IMHO" doesn't get you off the hook on this board. It affords a poster little protection from those want to take even a "humble opinion" and destroy it and the poster as well. This applies to many posters who publicize IMHO information and are subsequently taken by the hyenas lurking in the wings.

I think everything most certainly remains in tact from a strategic point of view. Specifics regarding almost anything of use are very hard to come by right now. There is really only one truth that we all know and all live for - there is oil waiting for us - in quantities that will boggle the mind. Some of it is ours and "in time" we shall become people of leisure. All else is rubbish from people who should be burked.

So have a chocolate but first...try the beef lo mein.

Sorry for rambling. All the above is IMHO....lol
